Screen Art Prints
Silkscreen printing / screen printing / serigraphy - a traditional fine art printing technique known since the 17th century. Prints are printed by pressing paint through a matrix/screen. Each colour is applied separately, which requires extreme precision and accuracy. The prints are produced in short, often limited editions, and the pieces may differ in details such as the degree of paint coverage. In silkscreen printing, beautiful, extremely vivid colours are achieved. The prints are usually (but not always) numbered and signed, printed in limited amounts, and have collector's value. Limited edition silkscreen prints are sold with certificates of authenticity attesting to their originality, authorship and the highest quality.
