Riso Art Prints

Risography (riso) is a digital printing technique that has some of the characteristics of silkscreen printing - the printing machine creates a matrix through which the paint is pressed. This makes riso prints unique. Riso prints each colour separately, so you can obtain interesting effects of overlapping different colours - just like in silkscreen printing. The applied paint has a characteristic uneven texture, producing a hand-made, craftsmanlike impression. A technique loved by publishers of niche magazines, zines and fans of original, somewhat raw prints.
