Marcelina Amelia
Born in Częstochowa where she graduated from the Jacek Malczewski School of Fine Arts. In 2011 she graduated with honours from the Illustration Department at the University of Westminster in London, where she now resides and continues her creative activities.Her works have been published in many foreign publications such as Digital Arts, Ribbed, Celeste, Tourist, Vogue and Baku. She has participated in several major art events such as the D&AD, London Design Festival, London Illustration Fair, New Designers, as well as the charity Big Egg Hunt, where she was in the company of works by such artists as the Chapman Brothers, Marc Quinn, Giles Deacon, Vivienne Westwood, Sir Peter Blake and Mr. Brainwash.
More about artistHer main sources of inspiration are childhood memories, dreams, introverted evening tours and Christian iconography. Besides creating illustration art, Marcelina is actively engaged in the established together with Rebecca D alternative clothing brand called Ivory Jar, in which drawing is mixed and combined with clothing.
