Magda Krupa
Graduate of the Faculty of Journalism at the University of Warsaw. She was born, lives and creates in Warsaw, but dreams of living away from the big city. She illustrates mainly for children (but not only). She creates illustrations in a simple, often geometric style, with a large dose of color and retro character. I love the graphics from children's books of the 70s, 80s and 90s. They and old product packaging (especially matchboxes) are her most frequent inspiration. In her works, she escapes from realism and enjoys unobvious combinations and forms and playing with words. She mainly designs posters, greeting cards and invitations. She also draws for children's books, creates patterns for fabrics, illustrations for calendars and more.
