The poster by Przemek Debowski created on the occasion of the 64th Edition of the Krakow Film Festival is an interpretation of the slogan "Insider". "The slogan Insider was a sense igniter for me. It means to penetrate, to examine something, to know. It seemed appropriate and obvious to me to visually show the desire to get to the core, to explore. And since at the same time we are talking about a film festival precisely, it blended wonderfully with the image of the cinema hall. These two areas I tried to include in my project." - says the author.
Posters are sold without frames.
Krakow Film Festival
During the Krakow Film Festival, prominent and acclaimed filmmakers from around the world meet debutants, and audiences come face-to-face with filmmakers and film heroes. A Festival of celebratory premieres and a meeting place for true insiders and insiders who love cinema - in the halls of Krakow's legendary arthouse cinemas and the world of online screenings. The 64th KFF runs from May 26 to June 2, 2024, and on KFF VOD (from May 31 to June 16).
Przemek is a graphic designer, publisher and a graduate in Editing from the Jagiellonian University. He designs books for the most important Polish publishing houses, but mainly for his own publishing house Karakter, which was established in 2008, together with Magda Dębowska and Małgorzata Szczurek. Together with Jacek Mrowczyk, he is the editor of the anthology “Widzieć / Wiedzieć” (“Seeing / Knowing”), a selection of the most important texts on design (Karakter 2011). Przemek lives in Cracow.
