A unique, hand-formed and hand-painted plate by Ola Szpunar, created as a one-of-a-kind piece. The “Zwierciadło” composition captivates with its intriguing, symmetrical illustration – mirror images of faces with open and closed eyes, along with a central star motif, create a harmonious, mesmerizing design. The vibrant blue color contrasts beautifully with the warm tone of natural clay.

The plate is a unique wall decoration that can be displayed on its own or alongside other plates and posters. We encourage you to get creative!

All irregularities, asymmetries, and brushstrokes result from the fully manual creation process and are an intentional effect that highlights the artisanal nature of the piece.

About Ola Szpunar

Ola Szpunar Check all artist work

A graduate of the Faculty of Design at the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdańsk, she has devoted her professional life to illustration. Within her own studio, she creates illustrations of children's books for many Polish and foreign publishing houses, also illustrates for the press and designs textile patterns. Her interest in working with clay, which emerged a few years ago during classes at an open ceramic studio, has over time evolved into the activity of the ceramic project 'Clai'. Under this banner, delicate dishes decorated with distinctive hand-painted patterns are created.
