Paweł Pacholec

Graduate of the School of Fine Arts in Gdynia-Orłowo, the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdańsk at the Faculty of Graphics and the University of Arts in Poznań at the Faculty of Photography. Member of China Europe International Design Culture Association. Scholarship holder of the Marshal of the Pomeranian Voivodeship and the Rector of the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdańsk for the best students. Winner of various awards, distinctions and participant of many competitions, Biennale, Triennale or exhibitions at home and abroad.

His works can be found in the collections of museums and galleries in various parts of the world. He mostly explores themes related to anthropology and sociology in the broad sense. The technique he uses most often is collage, inspired by such masters of this technique as Robert Rauschenberg, Kurt Schwitters, Raoul Hausmann and Jerzy Krechowicz. He also uses the photographic medium and drawing for his works.
