Italian-Japanese Cuisine Art Print

Screen printing/ serigraphy/screen printing is one of the most noble printing techniques, known since the 17th century. Prints are printed by forcing the ink through a matrix/screen and each individual colour must be perfectly matched with the previous ones. The advantage of this technique is also that the prints are produced in short, usually limited editions, so that once they are used up the print assumes a collector's value, as the artist does not return to that design again. There are only as many prints produced as the edition of a given design.
